Synopsis: Diesel fire pump engine failure leaves Cruise Terminal without fire protection and facing lengthy fire-watch due to extended lead times on replacement/repair equipment.
Details: Royal Carribbean experienced diesel pump failure and another fire pump repair company reached out to Sprinklermatic and were able to get a RentFirePumps.com pump rental to meet their fire protection needs to provide an immediate solution.
Solution: A mobile diesel temporary fire pump was mobilized and installed within 24 hours of approval to put the terminal back in service while their own equipment could be repaired.
Temporary Fire Pump: Diesel 750GPM@175PSI complete with Jockey pump, controllers, test header, high PSI hose and Storz connection, fittings, fuel tank and high pressure rubber jacketed hose were supplied for temporary service.
