Details: This facility converts non-hazardous waste into energy through a combustion process that generates steam to produce electricity. Fire protection system failure due to an underground leak caused the Plant’s fire pump to run for an extended period damaging the diesel engine leaving the fire sprinkler system out of service.
Solution: A mobile temporary fire pump capable of meeting the demand of the existing fire suppression system was delivered and installed by Sprinklermatic Florida.
