Project Name: Perdue Argi
Location: 6906 Zion Church Road, Salisbury, MD 21804
Project Type: Industrial
Synopsis: During the annual inspection of Perdue’s fire pumps, it was discovered that both the electric and diesel pumps were unable to meet the demand of the fire protection system. With both pumps out of service, an immediate response was critical, as production and life safety could not be compromised. Rental fire pumps were deployed promptly, providing a seamless and efficient solution to ensure the fire protection system’s requirements were met while maintaining a safe working environment.
Details: Located in the heart of Salisbury, Maryland, Perdue operates as a vital contributor to the town’s growing economy. Both production and life safety were top priorities, as Perdue provides essential products and employment opportunities to the community. To maintain uninterrupted fire protection while the onsite electric and diesel fire pumps were repaired, two mobile fire pumps were deployed. This ensured that the fire protection system continued to meet operational demand without compromising safety or production.
Solution: Once Perdue was notified by local fire sprinkler contractors that the two onsite fire pumps were not meeting system demand, a fast, reliable, and effective solution was required. RFP, a trusted provider in the life safety industry, deployed two mobile fire pump units to maintain fire protection. These units ensured that all critical system requirements were met. With back-to-back mobile fire pump trailers delivered, installed, and tested to meet local AHJ and NFPA standards, Prelude was able to maintain full fire protection coverage while the permanent pumps were repaired.
